Features & Benefits
ACUVUE OASYS can be worn daily for 2 weeks or continuously for up to 6 nights and 7 days.

As a Class 1 lens, ACUVUE OASYS with HYDRACLEAR PLUS can block 99% UVB and 96% UVA rays — some of the highest levels you’ll find on the market today.

Acuvue Oasys FAQs
Acuvue Oasys can be worn continuously as extended wear lenses for up to 6 nights/7 days (under the guidance of your optician) and must be disposed of. If you're removing and cleansing them at the end of each day and not sleeping with them on, then they can be worn for up to 2 weeks before being replaced.

ACUVUE OASYS and 1-DAY ACUVUE MOIST are both soft contact lenses and disposable contacts, however they have different replacement schedules. Acuvue Oasys is a 2-week lens while Acuvue Moist is a daily disposable lens. Acuvue Moist has a higher water content than Oasys but this is not unusual for a daily lens vs a bi-weekly lens. Both lenses feature UV blocking as well as a light tint for handling purposes. Both include advanced technologies to promote comfort throughout the day, but they go about this slightly differently. Ultimately, they are compelling and popular options within their respective segments, and guidance from an ECP will help determine your specific needs.
Acuvue Oasys offers 2-week wear with overnight use and fewer replacements, making it more cost-effective. Dailies Total 1 provides premium comfort but must be replaced daily at a higher cost. Your choice depends on prioritizing cost or comfort.

Acuvue Oasys Reviews
Spots on lenses
My order always arrives quickly, so no issue there, but I was surprised to see that these lenses had white deposits all over them when I first opened them. I put them in Clear Care solution overnight and they looked fine the next morning, but I've never seen fresh lenses come out looking like that. There are quite a few recent online forums complaining about the quality of AV lenses since they changed to the new teal colored packaging. Not sure what the problem is, but the lenses are definitely not as comfortable as they used to be, so something has changed. I will be asking to trial a new brand at my next eye appt. I think this is a manufacturing issue and not anything to do with Lens.com because the reports mention a bunch of different sites that sell these lenses.
